Xtek, an employee owned company headquartered in Cincinnati, is an international manufacturer of custom machined and heat-treated parts and component assemblies for heavy-duty industrial applications. Xtek provides engineering and metallurgical expertise, combined with state-of-the-art machining capabilities, to solve the toughest power transmission and material handling equipment problems faced by customers in steel mills, aluminum mills, power generation, pulp & paper, mineral processing, and other industries throughout the world. Today, Xtek has facilities in Hammond, Indiana; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; York, Pennsylvania; Hamilton, Ontario; and Plzen, Czech Republic. Xtek has used a broad suite of Dynamics AX 2009 modules since September 2009. They have five companies in AX and use multi-currency and intercompany functionality. The meeting will include a tour of the Cincinnati manufacturing and heat treat facilities. The facility will be available from 9am to 5pm if members wish to stick around for longer conversations.
