Hey everybody. Checking in with you some 4 months after the world changed. We here at sa.global are still trucking along, helping companies implement new software and helping others support their new business processes required due to more than typical remote work. One thing we’ve missed as a company is the ability to get out of the house or office and meet with our other people. It seems pretty trivial, but conferences, on-site visits, and sales calls are all important ways we interact with our partners and customers. To that end, Jon and I have been working on a side project called DynamicsCon. We’ve enlisted some of the most energetic and creative people in our space to help run a 100% virtual and 100% free Dynamics 365-focused conference. Over the last couple of weeks, we have been finalizing some design elements and gauging initial interest – we’ve been pleasantly surprised. What differs DynamicsCon from other conferences? It is 100% free (supported by like-minded and generous sponsors) and the presenters are being paid (or receiving a donation to charity in their name). If there is anything left over after expenses, the proceeds are all be donated. Want proof? The financials are going to be available to the public. You might say “this seems like an extension of sa.global. Just one more way for them to sell to us” but that’s not the case. The conference is a separate company and to make sure the selection of the sessions is fair and upfront; we’re going to have public voting once all the sessions are submitted for consideration. We want to provide a place FOR the community BY the community – all are welcome. If you want to learn more, head to the site at https://dynamicscon.com. You can also reach out to Jon and me individually or ping us on Twitter @jac_rod or @stypulation. If this is something you are interested in, feel free to share with your friends and use the #dynamicscon hashtag. I look forward to hearing from you all! Jake
