As we embark on the second half of 2020 (yes, that’s right, we are only halfway through the year), it amazes me how much has happened in the first half of the year. No recap needed, right?!?! Here at sa.global, we take pride in knowing that we are just as critical to our customers, as they are to us. We know that our customers count on us to be forward thinkers, preparing for what is down the road or right around the corner. It is what we do, and we do it well. We know that our customers are preparing for growth and whether it’s faster, more reliable software; a cleaner more intuitive business process; or a more reliable analytics dashboard to make faster, proactive decisions, we are here for you. As you can imagine, being a reliable and respected partner for our customers isn’t a ‘set it and forget it’ type of situation. The world is changing, business is changing, and we have to be ahead of that change with things like professional development, refined methodologies, world-class team members, and much more. And, just like our customers, we are preparing for growth.
We are growing! Just add water, I mean Weber.
I am excited to announce my colleague (and friend) Lauren Weber has been named Operations Manager here at sa.global. As a team, we recognized that we needed to be better at certain parts of our operations. We didn’t want to be the dentist who has bad teeth… it was time to bring in the big guns. No, not Arnold and Sylvester, but close! Lauren’s interest in artisan work is her personal passion (second to her family) – she enjoys making crafts and crocheting. She even worked at a stained-glass company ‘back in the day’. After graduating from college in 2010, Lauren wanted to start her own business making and selling handmade arts and crafts. The market was still a little rocky from the recession, so she took on a role at a trucking company, where she found her professional passion. She was a part-time temp but that didn’t stop her from taking ownership of everything she did, improving things left and right, even dabbling a little in EDI and analytics. Lauren’s newfound passion for business management led her right into an MBA program. While pursuing her MBA she worked diligently to curate reports that streamlined operations in the organization. Lauren worked part-time for DC for a number of years before having to separate her part-time activity and focus on her full-time work and finalizing her MBA. It did not take long to notice the tremendous value Lauren brought to our team. After a few months, and a few phone calls, Lauren accepted a full-time role with DC as Project Coordinator. Her steady hand and attention to detail (perhaps a little crossover from her personal passion) shaped the companies back office and after just after 9 months of being on the team full time, we are excited to announce that Lauren is our new Operations Manager, the first in company history. When asking about working for sa.global, Lauren said: “DC is a growing and busy company that warrants a lot of independence and accountability from everyone, and I really enjoy the autonomy and ability to make an impact.” Lauren, you certainly do make an impact and we are lucky to have you part of our team! Thank you for being such a phenomenal asset as the Operations Manager here at Dynamics Consulting. If you have any questions or are interested in speaking with Lauren, you can find her on LinkedIn, or feel free to contact us directly.
