Shawn Dorward, Small-Medium Business Practice Director, specializes in maximizing returns on technology investments. After using Dynamics products for nearly 15 years as an end-user, Shawn found himself better serving the Dynamics Community as a consultant.

Shawn started his career as an accountant at a nonprofit organization, working as an accounts receivable associate. The organization was using an AS400 system and received a grant to implement a modern ERP system. The IT team didn’t have the bandwidth to handle the implementation and sought an internal volunteer to help. He quickly raised his hand and found a passion he would carry with him for the rest of his career: improving efficiencies and processes and utilizing technology in creative, repeatable ways to better a business. Shawn is a big fan of technology for companies and in his personal life, especially home automation. You can often find Shawn tinkering with technology or enjoying time with his family at a baseball game or fishing.
